Web based online measurement and evaluation systems special for evaluation aimed at formating-growing

Today, the internet is used in many areas such as communication, marketing, defence and education. The ongoing developments in internet, computer and web technologies today reveal education on web and afterwards the concept of online examination on the internet. When developing informatics and internet technology are taken into consideration in literature review, it is understood that academic studies on this field are unfortunately not at desired level. In particular, it is understood that there are not any advanced studies supporting full learning even though there are studies entitled such as computer-assisted examination system and online examination system with classical methods; the application studies that have been carried out are generally devoted to the evaluation of measurement, therefore, especially the importance of evaluation aimed at formating- growing has not been worked until now. In order for the full learning approach to be successful, it is necessary to follow the student continuously, to monitor his/her course situation and to consolidate him/her when needed. However, it is often not possible for a teacher to give feedback and revise each student in the present classroom environment (doing formative tests after each unit, evaluating these tests and informing students about their results). Therefore, in this study, online examination system which can help full learning, special for mid-term evaluation, has been developed. In contrast to the classical online test systems, the developed examination system finds student's lackings and mistakes on the basis of acquisition, which prepare student to final exam, and presents these simultaneously to both student and instructor rather than measuring the final success of the student.By providing students with adaptable tests with a variety of advanced options, it will improve student's quality and by directing equivalent questions to the student who cannot solve a question, it will provide a better evaluation of student's success in unite or acquisition in question.
