Abstract (EN)

In recent years, the knowledge sharing view has attracted attention in the innovation management literatüre, and theoretical studies note many research challenges. Currently, one of the most important and special issues is the role of the knowledge sharing on company perofrmance through innovation quality and intellectual capital variables. In this context, the most recent research proposes a wide range of research models. Nevertheless, we know little about the relationship among knowledge sharing, intellectual capital, innovation quality and company performance. Thus, this thesis study aims to find strong empirical evidence to understand more accurately about relationship between knowlege sharing and company performance. By studying 161 employees, we found that 1) explicit knowledge sharing positively impacts the structural and human capital variables, 2) tacit knowledge sharing has positive impacts on all intellectual capital variables, 3) structural and relational capital variables have positive impact on innovation quality, 4) innovation quality has positive impacts on operational performance, and 5) operational performance is positively related to company financial performance.
