Abstract (EN)
Thanks to the developing technology, access to information has become easier today, but it is also possible to quickly accept the wrong information that is known to be true and it is possible to encounter information pollution among unlimited information. This creates to design information need. It is seen that institutions which appeal to all parts of society need information designs more. The information conveyed by these institutions should be purified from unnecessary texts and visuals, and it should be designed in a sequential and systematic manner. Accordingly, one of the most important institutions which need information design is museums. Since the middle of the 20th century, modern museums have turned museums into living spaces, aiming to reach the whole society with educational activities in addition to their efforts to preserve, organize and exhibit information. In this direction, an exemplary contemporary art museum was created in the last part of the thesis. Thanks to using technology in information design, in accordance with an education-oriented and living space, Töz contemporary art museum will provide both general information about itself and informational designs in areas such as exhibitions, workshops and events. Suggestions will be made to position it in the digital world simultaneously with the real world.
