Abstract (EN)
In this study, a program was designed about design of helical spring which wasone of the most common used machine parts, in computer environment. Widerange of information was given in this program about spring samples, springmaterials, spring equations, spring standarts, spring producing, springproducers. In calculate part of the program, the force-displacement calculationsof helical compression and extension spring was done whose wire diameter,body diameter, coil number was defined. In addition, restricts were given asouter diameter, inner diameter to these springs so it was realized springdimensions was optimized to minimum outer volume or minimum material. Inaddition, the deformation analysis of helical coil spring was done and theobtained spring index values were compared to values that obtained fromequation. The obtained datas were added to program.
