Abstract (EN)

Keywords: Stent, vascular occlusion, souble stents, finite element method The stent is intended to open veins that is blocked blood flow by various reasons and to prevent the vein from closing by supporting this area from the inside. Stent types classified according to stent structure, design, application area and application system. The design, the dimensions and the materials that are produced vary according to where stent will be used. The first report on stent mechanics was written by Dotter in 1964.Later, these studies have been developed by different scientists and reach to nowadays and researches on this subject still continue. In the proposed study, a study was conducted on the design and development of biocompatible stents expanded by ballooning and applied. In the study, the effect of stent design, material and size on different designs was investigated. As a result of the analyzes carried out, the mechanical properties obtained by considering 3 different diameters and 3 different thickness values and 3 different stent patterns were compared and the obtained results were interpreted.
