Abstract (EN)
The development in the computer technology, affects social life increasingly. These effectsinfluence the individuals, institutions, communities and societies with different views anddifferent purposes. It can not be denied that the architecture and design industry have animportant role in different computer aided industries.Generally, the process which includes the element of computer is:Design â Computer â Computer Aided Designâ End ProductDesign is a complicated process which is based on collaboration. Design is also a socialaction to which different people contribute their backgrounds and different points of view. Inthis context, when today?s options are taken into consideration , it is very important todeterminate and understand the advantages which the improvement of computer technologiesprovide.The ?Part 2? is about the importance and the elements of computer in design and the methodswhich are used in order to increase the productivity in computer use. In this part, taking intoconsideration the development in computer systems, information and definitions aboutcomputer hardware are provided. For each element, there is different and useful informationfor users to benefit from opportunities of technology and satisfy their own needs. Thecomputer hardware is divided into parts of titles with the units of inputs and outputs. Theelements which affect the computer aided design criteria?s are also analyzed in detail.In ?computer aided design? and ?3d modeling?, beside photo-realistic approach and virtualreality, the format of product and technical analyses are also significant. Especially with thetechnological development today, these criteria?s have an increasing importance. In this sense,with the necessity to analyze 3d modeling software, in part 3, information about the mostpopular and successful softwares of the world is given. The same part of the thesis includesthe algorithms constituting these softwares.In correlation with the subjects of part 2 and 3, part 4 contains some information about theresults of the tests and analyses of the 3d modeling softwares in which the main purpose ofthe thesis realized. Working on one sample model, the parameters are implemented separatelyxvand different end products are displayed in different tables. By this way, the developmentprocess of the model has been demonstrated in separate softwares.Keywords: Three dimensional modelling, computer aided modelling, computer technologies,architectural softwares, virtual reality.JURY:1.
