Abstract (EN)

The world harbors many mysteries. These mysteries arouse human curiosity and the desire for research. Undoubtedly, in addition to the mysteries of the world, the mysteries of the outer world also attract man. In this case, man has turned his face to the sky. The mystery of the beyond atmosphere, which has been a subject of curiosity throughout human history, is also the focus of science fiction cinema. As of the current historical period, science fiction cinema's depictions of extraterrestrial life have ceased to be a set of visions formed in the collective mind of the producer and have turned/are turning into concepts that can be sensed by everyone as a result of the feverish work of scientists. In this direction, cinema's depictions of extraterrestrial life leave the utopian mold with the development of science and gain a scientific background. In this study, science fiction cinema is seen as a future projector and the films that are thought to contain important depictions of extraterrestrial life are analyzed and evaluated in this regard. It is determined how the depictions in the films appear in today's world and inferences are made about how they will appear in the future. As a result of these inferences, the issue of the future life of human beings outside the Earth is emphasized and this issue is discussed through science fiction cinema.
