Comparison of entrepreneurship tendency of it students at different levels

One of the elements of foreground step into the future with confidence is entrepreneurship in the developing and changing world conditions on a national and international level. In the information age, entrepreneurship moves especially in the field of informatics bringing sound and all around the world in a short time and it brings social benefits with rapid development and economic development. Therefore, this research is important. The purpose of this study is to determine the tendency of students studying entrepreneurship at different levels in the IT field, also to determine the relationship between variables, such as tendency in demographics, entrepreneurship training and gender, It is considered that the findings and the results of study shed light on the point of determining entrepreneurship policies in the IT sector. The sample of the research is students who are training in the IT field of high school, school of higher education and faculty in 2015-2016 academic year in Afyonkarahisar. The study is including 323 (50.1%) male and 322 (49.9%) female, the total 645 students. Three different data collection tool has been used to aim of measure the demographic data and entrepreneurship tendency. The screening model was used for research data. Obtained data were analyzed in the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program. According to the survey, it has been shown the level of entrepreneurship education of students is very low. It was observed that there was no significant difference between male and female students about entrepreneurship tendency and with a high level of entrepreneurship of students studying in the IT field. It is determined that if students remain in a difficult situation that need to work harder, entrepreneurial tendency increases. It was shown that no a direct impact on the entrepreneurship of having computer at home. The tendency of entrepreneurship of the individuals who have good communication skills are quite high. It has also been realized that entrepreneuring candidates think nehativly of sharing their working ideas with others. It has been considered that it will be fruitful to increase the entrepreneurship trainings in schools in accordance with the research results so as to increase the tendency of entrepreneurship of the students who are educated in defferent levels of informatics.
