Abstract (EN)

In today?s business world, the power of surviving and competing with other companies is related to use the resources efficiently and effectively. In recent years, as a result of an understanding of employees' most valuable resources of enterprises, has led to increase in the importance that given to human and human management. This also has led to an increase in career planning and motivation researches, which is one of the most important factors to ensure employees work more efficiently.In this study, the effect of career management on employee motivation is examined as one of the most important tasks of today's human resource managemet. For this purpose, firstly, the terms career planning, career management and motivation are investigated. In the application phase, the effects of career development on employee motivation are examined. Within the scope of this research, 171 employees from Türk Telekom Regional Directorate in Bursa, are surveyed via a survey form. As a result of the analysis of the responses, a statistically significant relationship between career planning and motivation have been identified. According to the analysis, it has emerged that career planning is known by the employees and career planning applications affect the level of employee motivation. However, in Türk Telekom, career planning practices are inadequate and it has emerged that this situation affects employees? motivation negatively.
