The effect of information technology which is used frequently on the performance of personnels at perception level: Sample of Yalova Vodatech

Office activities are occured benefiting from information technology in new modern offices. Because the offices precondition in every type of economic and social organization, office fact is a huge extent. The offices constitute base building block of the organizations which produce service and ware, the functions of management are carried out in offices thus it is very vital to reveal the sense of performance of workers who apply the activities of information technology. It is aimed to be determined the effects of the sense of performance of workers, the purpose of workmen who use the information technology, the problems that workmen enhance by using information technology in this study since the information technology develops very fastly result from being used in offices in last years. Research is carrying out in the branch of Yalova Vodatech. It is used quantitative method and questionnaire technique. Questionnaires are examined by scanning present Turkish and foreign literature, questionnaire forms are prepared which are formed by 45 items, 8 of them are demographic. In the branch of questionnaire, there are 350 workers. The researcher has communicated the questionnaire with Yalova Vodatech Branch workers by reproducing 350 times. They have replied 192 of the questionnaires, 177 of them are appropriate for the research. According to the result of this research; positive and negative effects of usage of information technology on workers are determined; it is useful for reaching to documents and information faster, it is useful for updating and improving present information, it is useful for easing to get help from the others, it is not useful for revealing the concern of stress and health problems. The workmen are using information technology in order to research about their jobs however they are enhancing with technical problems and the trouble of obstacle on the information.
