Factors affectting the organizational commitment of information technology proffessionals

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors affecting the organizational commitment of Information Technology (IT) professionals. 174 IT professionals working in different cities of Turkey participated in the study. A questionnaire is used to collect data. The data are analyzed using factor analysis, regression analysis and independent samples t tests. As a result of the analyses performed, it is found that compensation, training and managerial support positively affect the organizational commitment of IT professionals.
