ABSTRACTTo understand home automation systems that offer very large application fields in the bestway, controlled systems are discussed in the second section. Lighting systems, fire systems,security systems, closed circuit televison sytems, access control systemsand heatingvantilating air conditioning systems are described.In the third section, devices and equipments that used in home automation systems and theirapplications are explained. In the forth section X10 protocol is mentioned. The X10 adepteddevices and their applications are described.In the fifth section the softwares which can be accepted as the brain of home automationsystems are mentioned. The Homeseer software is introduced and its application fields aredescribed.In the sixth section, a home automation is establihed via Homeseer.
