Creation of three dimensional city model and e-muncipality opportunities in the building design - control process

With emerging technology, cities are composed of more complex infrastructure and superstructure system. The traditional method of system management and control is not sufficient on this changing system. In the process of taking decision, the city management have to associate with complex city system and process of building production, municipal affairs, urban design, disaster management, education, transportation, urban issues. In this association, the exchange of information between experts and institutions are needed in coordination. Data processing and internet technologies prove to remote reach to these in formations rapidly in precision. The aim of this article is to propose digital 3D urban database model which will be used by different administrative units simultaneously. It is proposed that 3D CAD models which were designed by different architectural and engineering units will be collected in unique virtual city part. Discipline layered 3d city model is going to serve institution in the case of building production, municipality affairs, urban design, water-sewage-electricity-energy supply and maintanence, disaster management, education , transportation and city security by easy, rapid, cheap and proper process.
