Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out to determine the yield and yield parameters of some field pea (Pisum arvense L.) genotypes in winter sowing during the 2016-2017 growing season in the Bingöl ecological conditions in the research area of Bingöl University Genç Vocational School. In the research, 22 field peas [KB 2, KB 21, KB 73, KB 91, KB 95, KB 99, KB 100, KB 103, KB 105, KB 109, KB 112, KB 124, KB 211, P 104, P 105, Ulubatlı, Taşkent, Kirazlı, Whistler, Özkaynak, Servet, Gölyazı] were used as plant material. The study was set up with three replications according to the design of random blocks. In the study; plant height, main stem thickness, green herbage and hay yields, number of pods per plant, seed and biological yields, 1000 grain weight, crude protein ratio and yield, crude ash ratio, acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), dry matter digestible (DMD), dry matter intake (DMI), relative feed value (RFV) were investigated. Among the characteristics investigated in the research (P≤0.01) statistically significant differences were found. As a result of the research; plant height varied between 47.3-96.7 cm, main stem thickness 1.8-2.7 mm, green herbage yield 853.6-2442.0 kg/da, dry yield 264.0-580.8 kg/da, number of pods per plant 6.4-16.7 number/plant, number of grains per pod 3.9-7.1 number/plant, seed yield 102.4-294.2 kg/da, biological yield 286.2-600.4 kg/da, 1000 grain weight 109.7-244.8 g, crude protein ratio 10.3-20.1%, crude protein yield 28.8-109.2 kg/da, crude ash ratio 3.6-10.1%, ADF 21.7-36.4%, NDF 33.2-43.4%, DMD 60.6-72.0%, DMI 2.7-3.6%, RFV 136.6-202.1. According to one year trial results; For the Bingöl province and such ecological conditions, it is advised to plant genotypes with high green herbage, dry herbage and crude protein yields, low ADF and NDF ratios and high SKM, KMT and NYD values for KB 112 and KB 124. Keywords: Field pea, crude protein, yield, ADF, NDF, seed yield, winter sowing.
