Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out to determine some fruit characteristics of mulberry genotypes grown in Bingöl Central district and to investigate the possibilities of reproduction by cuttings. In the first year, fruit samples were taken from 10 fruit trees to represent polulation. At the end of the weighted grading, 6 types of steel were determined to buy two from each color fruit, two from the ones with the highest fruit weight. Fruit samples were taken again in the second year from these 6 types and the data were evaluated together. Average fruit weight in fruits varied between 2.3 g (BNG2) - 3.35 g (BNG6), fruit width 13.1 mm (BNG2) - 16.8 mm (BNG6) and fruit length 22.15 mm (BNG10) - 25.9 mm (BNG1). While the amount of water-soluble dry matter in fruits was between 1.45-2.3, the pH value was found between 4.95-6.5 and the titratable acid content was between 1.1-3.85%. The best rooting rate was found at 6000 ppm in July period in white mulberry cuttings, 6000 ppm in March period in black mulberry types and 4000 ppm in November in purple mulberry types.
