Abstract (EN)

Diabetes is a serious issue affecting worldwide health. An elevation in uric acid levels in the blood characterizes hyperuricemia. Gout, the primary sign of hyperuricemia, is painful but manageable. Oxidative stress has been related to the aetiology and pathogenesis of several chronic diseases. Malondialdehyde is a byproduct of lipid peroxidation. As well as being mutagenic. Fifty males and fifty females with varying degrees of disease activity participated in this case-control project; the patients group of 50 patients with Type 2 Diabetic Patients with Hyperuricemia. The control group of 50 healthy individuals was matched for age and gender to the patients group. When accomplishing the investigation on the participants, a level elevation was found in SUA, FBG, HbA1c, SA, CP and MDA for patients versus control with p-value ≤ 0.001**. In conclusion, there is no correlation between SUA, SA, and CP, but on another side, there is a negative correlation between SUA and MDA. In addition, there is a negative correlation between CP and MDA
