Özet (EN)
In theory, the growth or transfer of microorganisms in an environment can not be prevented. However, the level of particles in that environment can be fixed by giving filtered fresh air which have low particle concentration and at the same time discharging the dirty air out from the environment. The best way to realize this aim is to have a properly designed ventilating system. In this study, the subject that should be cared in designing of an operating room ventilation system. At the same time, according to some initial values and design criterions, equipments (filter, heating, cooling, etc.) of operating room air handling unit were calculated and selected. After that calculation, a test stand prepared to see the effects of various supply air conditions on the cooling capacity and check the theoretical calculations. The cooling capacity from air side and refrigeration side were compared. The results showed that the both measurements are consistent with each other and with the theoretical calculation. Key Words : operating room air handling unit, clean room, vapour compression cooling cycle
