Abstract (EN)

This study is based on the assumption that there is a shortage of petroleum fuels used in internal combustion engines. After all researches for new and renewable alternative fuels, improve of properties fuel and attempts to reduce fuel consumption and exhaust emission constitute a basis fort this study. In this study ;metanol-diesel fuel, organometal MnO2 fuels has been investigated experimentally. Besides , this is study examined effect on engine oil and piston ring of metanol fuels. At pressure value of the test engine is 200 bar, four cylinder, direct injection diesel engine using metanol-diesel fuel mixture has been addition rate %5, %10 ve %15 metanol. Dodekanol has been addition to tank prevent phase separation . Further the organo-metallic compounds of metal Mn are syntlesized to prepore their solutions. The additive which achieves the greatest fall in feezing point of the fuel, its optimum rate of dosage and performance effects were tested to determine their effects.According to the results; it has been found that there is an efficiency incrase in the specific fuels consumption and NOx and, a decrease in the CO, setan number incrase with organo-metal MnO2, viscosity, freezing point and flaming temperature.
