Abstract (EN)
One of the main materials consumed in various sectos in the World is steel. It can be producted in varioun allys and shapes. The production method commonly used in steel production is the prodction in electric arc furnaces (EAF). The amount of energy used fort he production of steel meterial in these furnaces is very high, the amount recorded as loss is quite high. Flow analyzes including combustion, radiation, tubulant flow and flue gas were performed in the electric arc furnace studied. The furnace used in the stud has three graphite electrodes and three injectors. Approximate production capacitiy is arroun 250 tons for one filling. In the study, studies of carbon burning, arc radiation energy, temperature, turbulance formation regions were carried out fort he furnace.
