Abstract (EN)
The ultimate aim of the research is to reveal the relationship between flexible working and well-being. The research discusses the conceptual framework of flexible working and employee well-being, its historical development, the factors affecting flexible working and employee well-being and its meaning in working life. In addition, expectations for flexible working and employee well-being are explained. It is thought that this research will contribute to the literature as it deals with the conceptual framework of both flexible working and welfare understanding in detail. The research compiled the expectations for flexible working in terms of countries and sectors and tried to present the dynamics of the prevalence of flexible working straightforwardly and understandably with graphics. In addition, more than one factor (psychological, sociological, technological) that will affect flexible working has been included in this research. While conducting the research, the findings of empirical studies on the subject were compiled and described. In this context, the method used in the research is the literature review. The research results did not reach definitive and valid conclusions about the relationship between employee well-being and remote working. Because there are still deficiencies in the literature on the subject of the research, and the fact that there is more than one factor affecting flexible working at the same time and employee well-being, and these factors are affected by other variables such as age, gender, sector, country, technological development prevent reaching definite and valid conclusions.
