A philosophy and culture person: Hacı Ömer Özden

This master's thesis aims to contribute to the history of Turkish philosophy and cultural studies by examining the life, philosophical views, and cultural works of Haci Omer Ozden. As a historian of philosophy, Özden's academic education, philosophy mentors, students he has trained, and fundamental philosophical approaches will be explored in detail, while the development and evolution of his philosophical thoughts will be thoroughly analyzed. Furthermore, his works on culture will be examined, with a particular focus on his ideas concerning Turkish culture and modernization processes. This thesis aspires to make a significant contribution to both the history of philosophical thought and cultural studies, providing readers with a comprehensive perspective on the intellectual legacy of Haci Omer Ozden.
