Abstract (EN)
As a consequence of globalization, effective management of organizational business processes gained importance for many corporates today. Nevertheless, in particular for the financial corporates, handling such processes has turned into a problem that is difficult to manage. In order to mitigate this problem, methods that make use of declarative and universal language standards have been put forward. From this perspective, in this study, we have examined the business process management systems in order to help mitigate the so mentioned problem of managing business processes. In particular, we have studied the BPMN 2.0 compliant systems in order to see whether these systems can be applicable for financial corporates. Moreover, we have analyzed the business management systems in detail and arrived into the conclusion that every process needs to be defined within its own context with respect to performance measurements. In addition, we found that customer satisfaction is crucial in business management systems infrastructure. Our results have been particularly reached by studying the "Your Bank Account Application" processes for which performance indicators have been pointed out.
