Abstract (EN)
This study aims to investigate, how the selection of airline company information technology department software company is determined by multi criteria decision making techniques. Research population consist of all airline companies in Turkey and the sample consist of leading position in the national airline of Turkey. Data were collected with " Saaty scale" . The scale was mutually evaluated by the decision-making group. In order to ensure the accuracy of the data mixed methods research was used combining both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The results of data analysis, after selecting the airline company information technology department software company, weights of criteria with AHP, TOPSIS, VIKOR, ARAS and MOORA methods were used together to select supplier company. ÇKKV techniques were analyzed with Excel as well as with the Decision Star package program developed within the scope of the thesis. During the study, because the simulation technique is used, random numbers are renewed in each trial and the results obtained vary. When the general assessment is made, both the results of the program developed in this thesis and the results of the excel are similar.
