Abstract (EN)
Hydraulic presses are machines that can not be made with manpower in the industry, such as printing, shaping, beating and compression, and are encountered in many applications requiring high force. Proportional control method is widely used in the control of these machines, and the control process is carried out in the function blocks, ladder diagram or structural text formats for a certain cycle period within the PLCs used. Fuzzy logic control is an important industrial control method used in complex systems that are difficult to obtain or cannot be modeled exactly. Fuzzy Logic Control is provided by execution of control algorithm in industrial applications. In addition, while Fuzzy Logic Control is executed in a PLC, it is carried out either by using a PLC with a high level Fuzzy Logic Control Module or by coding the Fuzzy Logic Control algorithm into the PLC. In this thesis, the Fuzzy Logic Control algorithm for a low level PLC without Fuzzy Logic Control Module was developed and PLC based fuzzy logic control of a deep drawing press machine was realized. Comparison of the developed system with existing conventional controlled press machines has been made. In the study, blurring, extraction process and rinsing steps for Fuzzy Logic Controllers in PLC environment were performed as separate blocks, and closed loop control operation was carried out by executing the blocks within the program. The fuzzy logic control program realized in PLC environment has been applied practically on the deep drawing press machine and results have been obtained for comparison purposes. According to the results, fuzzy logic control has been found to provide a good working performance. Keywords: Deep Drawing Press Machine, Fuzzy Logic Control, Hydraulic Press, PLC
