Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, an inverse problem for hyperbolic integro-differential equations is considered. For this purpose, the result which were obtained in the papers Klibanov and Timonov (2004), Cavaterra, Lorenzi and Yamamoto (2006) are discussed. The thesis consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, importance and a brief history of the problem are presented. In the second chapter, some basic definitions and theorems which are used in the thesis are given. In the third chapter, some Carleman estimates which are the key tools in the investigation of stability are considered. Finally, in the fourth chapter, based on the work Cavaterra, Lorenzi and Yamamoto (2006), the stability of the inverse problem is discussed.
