Comparison of different supply chain methods in a construction project and determination of their suitability for a construction project

Although the concept of supply chain is a concept that can be used in every sector, it is usually used in the manufacturing industry. In these times when the competitive environment is increasing, different methods and systems should be used to become more advantageous than competitive companies. The supply chain is also one of the concepts that will provide this advantage. The supply chain is seen as effective in the process from the production of the product to the delivery to the end user. The concept of supply chain, which has also recently been understood to be important in the construction industry, plays a very effective role in the cost and planning of companies. In companies where the supply chain is well managed, Supply Chain Management provides a significant advantage to companies in terms of cost and duration. A good Supply Chain Management requires that all kinds of materials that will be used to coordinate the construction process with the work program are delivered to the department where they will be used without delay. Increasing the profitability and project efficiency of construction companies is very important for successful Supply Chain Management. In this study, the issue of how different Supply Chains will affect the construction process, construction costs and durations is focused on. The aim of this study is to show how and in what way Supply Chain Management, which is most suitable for the project, affects the construction process by selecting it.
