Examination of the design and production process in the case

It has been found as a problem in the research that the publishings which have been carried out for varied aims and in different formats depending on design and the production process, have been limited and these publishings haven`t also held qualifications in terms of clarifying the subject. The examination of design and production process in a textile enterprise including the sample has been aimed in order to examine the design and production process in a detailed way in textile enterprises and prepare a reference guide for the individuals who are really interested in this subject.Target population of the study consists of textile enterprises which produce and design textile fabric in Turkey. As for the sample, it has been benefited from Anmen Textile Firm which carries on business in Bursa. In the research, a descriptive research method has been used in a screening model in order to reveal the exact situation for the arrangement of information relating design and production process. An interview form -consisting of 21 questions- has been applied for the staff of the design department so as to examine the enterprise which is in the scope of the sample concerning design and production process in a detailed way. Design and production process of the enterprise have been noted in an orderly manner by benefiting from the data which have been obtained. Within the scope of the research , internet has been utilized for the library and enterprise which are situated in Bursa and Ankara.Briefly , the results mentioned below have been indicated. It has been determined that design and production process have been applied in enterprise where the sampling has been carried out, the enterprise has completed the development process and it has been trying to stay at the present situation.The phases concerning the design process of the enterprise where the sampling has been carried out, have been explained.It has been seen that the most popular textile software in the enterprises is Ned Graphics, this program has been preferred as its usage is simple and it can solve the problems, designers who are working in the design department have generally graduated from vocational schools and vocational high schools as being the young designers, they have learnt the textile software which have been used by the designers under the enterprise conditions.It has gone through the production and sales processes such as the production of the fabrics which have been designed in the enterprise where the sampling has been carried out, its announcement to planning department, the preparation of drawing disk ,technical design, the evaluation of research & development , the determination if there is a necessity for the change of the drawing or not, and these steps have been totally explained.It has been indicated that the composition, motive and color features of the fabrics which have been produced in the enterprise, the motives which are used for design, have been provided by benefiting from various domestic and foreign sources.Customer demands, wallpapers, everything which is obtained from the nature such as drawing on ceramic have been the source of inspiration for the motives which have been arisen out of the design.
