Design installation and commissioning of a boiler test center and certification tests

With the decrasing good quality energy resources result increased energy input costs in the production sector, require to burn low quality fuels with the development environmental performance of combustion systems. For this reason, new combustion technologies are to be developed and the current technologies need improvements. The heat of combustion system performance and environmental impact of the economic size determines the size of the mechanisms and the emission characteristics of combustion system was developed signs of regeneration, will contribute to improving business conditions. For this purpose, solid, liquid and gas fuel types and fuel properties, according to gain energy efficiency and environmental conditions improve productivity, increase their goals to serve, emissions, heat capacity and efficiency tests will be performed, all systems and equipment with the Gazi University, Energy and Environment Systems and Industrial Rehabilitation Research Center testing center has been established within a heating boiler. In the center boilers come from manufacturing sector, are tested in the case of thermal efficiency, heat capacity, emissions, energy efficience and air pollution control. Thus, more effective and efficient use of energy sources in boilers will contribute.The test center boilers, consists of three test stations according to their capacities. The smallest test station is able to test 200 000 kcal/h boilers, the second 200 000-400 000 kcal/h and third one is able to 400 000-1 000 000 kcal/h.The purpose of this study is establish, the test center as mentioned above and perform the tests to prove that it happens.In the tests a 500 000 kcal / h capacity hot water boiler is investigated. During the tests some deficiencies in the system structure and operation characteristics were determined.
