A family's function as an institution for religious education

When we deal family as a foundation its important for the individuals of this foundation to build their behavior relations on those principles such as love, trust, connection, cherishing each other, etc. The importance of the family appears once again when it is seen that important, high-ranking individuals in the society have shown selfishness, fraud, selfish personality disorders considering their interests. Because when all the causes of these negativities are examined, the traces that the family leaves on the person appear. Therefore, the foundation of the family on solid and strong foundations will make the state strong. In this study, the stages of childhood are divided into infancy, pre-school, school age and adolescence. Each period has different features and needs. The first relationship between the 0- 2 years old mother-baby is based on the need for infant suckling. 2- 6 years of pre-school age is a period in which the child's character is formed and it is very difficult to change in the future. This period is also referred to as the imitation phase. The school age period is an era in which the child's mental angels develop. In this period, moral principles, religious principles are judged. Adolescence is a phase between childhood and adulthood. Parents should be aware that they are the bridge between childhood and adulthood. If the child has been carefully trained until the age of puberty, the Islamic teachings will influence him / herself in adolescence. Parents are the first educators of their children. One of the two most important principles that an educator should know is patience and the other. When it is known that education is a long process, parents will be more patient towards their children. Man is hasty; however, it learns everything over time. Time requires patience. Especially when it comes to religious education, it is getting more important for mothers to carry "es-Sabûr" name of Allah just as they carry "er-Rahim" name. When insulting, oppressive, belligerent, authoritarian families do not disclose religious issues with patience and tranquility, it does not seem possible for the child to internalize religious rules. After families become a good role model in the subjects of imposition, worship, and morality, they should ensure that the child assumes the religious knowledge by explaining the events in the cause of causal relations.
