Abstract (EN)
Keywords: Engine test system, Data Acquisition, LABVIEW program, Real Time control with PCThe development process of internal combustion engines depends on having the technical knowledge and the equipment that are necessary for data processing and development. Therefore, the test and performance analysis of the engine is necessary. Setting up of an engine test stand is required to test engines and to analyze their performance parameters. In this study, transfering the performance parameters of the available internal combustion engine to computer in real time has been realized. DAQ card has been used to transfer data to the computer and to realize the computer-controlled test unit. A user interface based on LABVIEW has been designed to perform the necessary procedures. The dynamometer load, the fuel consumption and the desired speed can be adjusted as sensitive by using DAQ card and the user interface. The dynamometer load, the fuel consumption and the desired speed can be adjusted precisely using DAQ card and the user interface during the engine test. Load, fuel consumption and temperature values (the engine inlet - outlet, exhaus inlet-outlet , oil, environment) can be seen on the interface after setting the speed for test and at the same time these values can be recorded in the computer.
