Abstract (EN)

Today, as the main participants of the capital markets, the sovereign wealth funds, which are state-owned investment instruments and have been in existence for decades, have recently managed to become the center of various discussions with their increasing numbers. In addition, with the increase in the number of these funds, which do not have a defined standard management framework, organizational forms such as the diversification of activity objectives have also diversified. Therefore, in this study, the structural features of sovereign wealth funds, which are one of the reflections of the different institutional characteristics of the countries, were examined within the scope of their types and the findings were explained and explained. The findings show the basis of the formal differentiation of sovereign wealth funds within the scope of technical, economic, political and institutional relations with the environment. The results obtained in the study revealed to what extent the organizational structures of the sovereign wealth funds were affected by the technical, economic, political and institutional environmental factors within the scope of the thematic environmental factors used in the analysis. In this context, it is expected that the study will contribute to both organizational studies within the scope of the environmental-organizational relations issue and to the knowledge about national wealth funds.
