Abstract (EN)

Risk analysis and struggle against uncertainty have a significant place among today?s problem solving methodologies. In this sense, there are a lot of techniques in the literature. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, which has a spectacular place in these methods, coming to our today with its fifty years of history and has various applications in different industries. In the study, which has given place to Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and notably to its Machinery Failure Mode and Effects Analysis type, the data has been given historical and comprehensive in terms of quality on the theoretical basis. In this study, an application of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis has been given during transition from manually labor intensive conventional works, which includes occupational safety risks, to a novel system in which same works to be done by robotic arms faster and with zero occupational accident risk.During application, automation line has been considered as a unitary system and its whole components have been taken to detailed inspection and machinery failure mode and effect analysis study has been performed this way. Later, line?s product range has been categorized and as a sub ? study, process failure mode and effect analysis study has been run out. This study, which firstly describes the system as machinery FMEA and later dividing it into sub parts and describing it in terms of process FMEAs in addition, provides a focus in the detail level of the system under study and increases the efficiency of the brain storming and so brings in some novelty for literature. As a result of application of this study, required corrective and preventive actions have been taken and a comparison of new system has been given according to a specific period of previous year. This comparison has been performed on profit/fee basis and according to development in quality issue.comprehensive in terms of quality on the theoretical basis.
