Abstract (EN)
A finite element model was carried out to describe critical regions in pneumatic tire andvibration properties of the tire. Non liner behavior of rubber material and body ply in the tirewas analyzed as a composite material. Contact analysis between tire and ground weremodeled numerically. Natural frequencies and damping coefficients were measuredexperimentally and then they are compared with numerical results. Tire was modeled in twoand tree dimension with finite element method, stress and modal analysis were performed.Natural frequencies were measured with different boundary conditions. Accuracy ofnumerical and experimental results was determined. As a result, it is showed that dampingproperties of the pneumatic tire at design process can be estimated and process time and costat production can be decreased.2006, 101 pagesKeywords: Pneumatic Tire, Finite Elements Method, Stress Analysis and Vibration.
