Abstract (EN)
The drilling sector includes many hazards due to working conditions. Therefore, a detailed risk analysis should be performed in order to determine the hazards at the drilling sites and to take necessary precautions. In this study; It was aimed to evaluate petroleum drilling location of Turkey Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) Batman District Directorate in terms of risk analysis, detecting situations that constitute risks in the drilling location, minimizing the risks and eliminating the existing risks. For this purpose, by using the survey method in the petroleum drilling location, first of all, the risks were determined and then the preventive suggestions regarding the elimination of the risks were presented in the thesis. Survey method was applied to thirty five different employees working in petroleum drilling location. Survey results showed that most of the work accidents occurred due to adverse weather conditions, assembly and disassembly, lack of experience, hours of shift change and resting (sleeping) hours. The precautions and advices for the reduction of these accidents are given in the thesis.
