The developed software was presented to the hospital staff for evaluation. People who use and do not use the software in Aksaray Training and Research Hospital were asked to evaluate the medical waste management processes. A data collection form consisting of 20 statements was created for evaluation. Data were collected using face-to-face interview technique. Obtained results; It has been determined that the software reduces the workforce, processing time and cost in waste management processes, and also facilitates transactions, accessing records and obtaining statistical reports compared to printed forms. In the evaluation made to the users; It has been determined that the software is more understandable than the printed forms, increases the security of the data, provides data opportunity for the objective evaluation of the medical waste personnel and for statistical researches. Based on these results, it is considered that it would be beneficial to use the program developed in all health institutions throughout the country according to the medical waste regulation determined by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
