Abstract (EN)

In order to survive in a rapidly developing competitive business world, businesses must constantly renew themselves and not lag behind their competitors. For this purpose, employees and their performances are of great importance. Measuring employee performance indicates the success of the business and in which areas it is missing. There are different approaches to performance measurement in the literature. After reviewing the studies, multi-criteria decision-making methods, which allow the inclusion of linguistic uncertainties in the evaluation process, were preferred. The aim of this study is to measure the performance of software group working in an insurance company by using Multi Criteria Decision Making techniques which are widely used in literature. Fuzzy-Analytic Hierarchy Process and ELECTRE methods, which are multi-criteria deision making approaches, are used together. With these methods applied simultaneously, it is aimed to measure the performance of the existing project groups. Firstly, the main criteria affecting performance and their sub-criteria were determined. Then, the fuzzy-analytic hierarchy process and the weights of the criteria were found. Finally, the performances of the software groups were calculated by using the ELECTRE method.
