Abstract (EN)
Batteries store the chemical energy and convert to electrical energy from chemical energy. But thermal batteries which used in organic electrolyte salt are active with heat. Thermal batteries are stronger and more durable than other batteries. Because of these properties, they are used in military applications. In this thesis, a thermal battery model is designed by used PHOENİCS packet program. Different electrolyte materials are used in the prepared model and these materials can be selected for medium-sized power. Some of these materials are pure organic salt and others are eutectic mixture. %1 SiO2 was participated into eutectic mixture and thermophysical properties of obtained new mixture were used in the analysis. 7 different thermal batteries modules were prepared by using chemical materials which are determined thermophysical properties. The obtaisned results from PHOENİCS packet program shows that working time of the thermal battery is extended by using C16H36BrN and nano-additive.
