Abstract (EN)

The textile sector within our country, which holds an even larger exportpotential than it currently possess, will inturn add greater value to oureconomy. In order to do so and successfully compete on the international stagethe textile industry must show its efficiency and reduce costs to a minimum. The lifting of quotas in the textile industy in 2005 has given China a veryadvantageous position within the textile sector, with its cheap source of labourand low energy costs. A logical and surefire way to compete with textileproducing countries and China is to bring energy costs to a minimum. One canachieve these goals by using rejected heat and renewable energies in amaximum value and also because of the global warming reduce the CO2emmisions to a minimum. The general application area of low grade exergy inheating or cooling of houses with ACS. Research has been put into analyze theclimate control of a given factory through ACS, also the production of necessarysteam by PTTC?s, and the results of using these two systems together. By onlyusing ACS, comparisons on initial investment and the operation of roof top air-conditioners and canalized split system air-conditioners has been done. It hasbeen found that, in the situation occurs where the steam that feeds ACS issomehow becomes wasted excess heat, the payback period will be six years.Application of PTTC?s alone and their steam production capacities have beenanalyzed. If the live span of the system is considered to be 20 years, with theremainder of the time after the system has paid for itself, the factory will notincur any heating or cooling expenses. Within this framework, the increased useof PTTC?s has been worked out to give the maximum yield. ASS?s with indirectfiring would be the ideal investment for those facilities with waste excess heatwho are seeking to reduce their energy expenditures. However, whether PTTC?swere used alone or along with ASS?s, inconclusive evidence has been found forindustry. The basic philosophy of this framework is applying and consideringthis type of small models with regard to techical and economical analysis.Science Code :914.1.038Key Words :Parabolic Through Type Collectors, Absorption Chillers,LiBr-H2O, Economic Analysis, Exergy analysisPage Number :180Adviser : Prof. Dr. Ali DURMAZ
