Abstract (EN)
In this study, Muğla, working with 420 MW of installed power of 210 MW thermal power plant Yeniköy thermodynamic analysis has been done for a unit. For each component of a power plant energy losses and for the whole plant, with the first and second law efficiency was calculated irreversibilities. 180,109 kW of energy loss as a result of the analysis, with the highest occurred in the condenser. The highest irreversibility is 240,506 kW boiler with a high-temperature combustion has occurred. The first law, the second law efficiency of thermal power plant efficiency 38.90% 32.21% respectively. In addition to changing environmental temperatures irreversibility and the second law efficiency of the plant and its components were investigated. In addition, the thermal power plants in order to reduce losses and irreversibility have been proposed.
