Solar cells aided cooling of a tractor cabinnet

In this thesis, firstly the view and projection of global energy is evaluated. Parameters which are increasing energy utilization, status of energy sources today and in the future are also discussed. In the end potantial of renewable energy utilization are shown based on different types. Especially solar energy is argued in detail under its application areas and electricity production technologies are studied based on thin film material utilization. After determining thin film type, cooling load calculations for a tractor cabin, suitable air conditioner selection based on cooling calculation results, power consumption of air conditioner and power generation of CIS thin films which are placed on windows of are calculated. Finally economic analysis is done for CIS thin film usage.
