Experiances and feelings of the nurses who work at a university hospital pediatric emergency medicine for refuges

Goals: This research is exercised to picture the experience and perception of the pediatric nurses, who work at emergency department in Ege University Hospital Izmir/Turkey, to patients and their attendants who are Syrian refugees in Izmir / Turkey . Tools and Methods: Phenomenological model is used during amylase process of collected data. Tools for data collection are questionnaire and interview forms which prepared with help of literature and expert opinions. To analyse the data latent structure of experience and perception of the nurses split into the themes by using code method. After that relationship with themes are reported. The themes and relations are exemplified. Findings: Five theme names areidentified while researching the feelings and experience of the pediatric emergency department nurses. Feelings of pediatric emergency department nurses are analysed according to negative affectivity, positive affectivity and poor living conditions. Experiences of the paediatric emergency department nurses are assaied into enantiomorph to the true life experiences and effects of life experiences on the individual (sympathetic- unfavourable), solution offers (social exclusion, advisory immigration, informing process and political regulation). Results: Cross-cultural communication is very important for nurses because migration which is unavoidable, is present day truth. Language difference problem, Cultural differences and their effects to medical care service for the two side of issue make different effects There should be educational programs for nurse about the cross cultural communication which is focused to being up against social exclusion.
