Özet (EN)
Today the mortality rate from cancer is decreasing in cancer patients but unfortunately, the incidence of cancer is increasing. According to the World Health Organization, it is estimated that in 2030, 21 million new cancer cases will occur and 13 million people will die from cancer. In the present day, which is thought to be a deadly disease, cancer which is considered as a complex, multifactorial disease has become a treatable disease with a large increase in treatment options. Increasing knowledge in tumor biology, a more effective and targeted "individual treatment" approach in the field of oncology in the treatment of disease is becoming gradually widespread. In this process, it will be useful to use Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques that clinicians can use to select the most appropriate treatment for the individual. MCDM; determination of objectives, creation of criteria, selection of alternatives, evaluation of alternatives according to criteria, general evaluation and decision, the examination of decision and is in the form of turning back. Along with a large number of techniques found in the solution of multi-criteria problems, thanks to the developing technology, researchers, clinicians, administrators and decision-makers who are trying to solve the problem through computer programs suitable for the application of these techniques bring great convenience. In this study; it is aimed to utilize the MCDM methods such as (AHP), VIKOR, ELECTRE, TOPSIS, and PROMETHEE that are becoming increasingly widespread nowadays to determine the selection, classification, and ordering of the "individual treatment" options and compare the methods with each other and with real prognosis of the patients. Multi-criteria decision-making methods applied to the data sets obtained from the Oncology department and risk factors, response to treatment, recurrence, survival rate, prognosis and hematological parameters of the patients were used. In this context, the weights of the criteria in the sample datasets were determined using Entropy, CRITIC, Standard Deviation, Statistical Variance Procedure Methods and individual treatment options, risk etc. AHP (Analytic Hierarchical Process), VIKOR, ELECTRE, TOPSIS and PROMETHEE methods are used for the selection and ranking of the selection. The weights of the criteria were determined by Entropy, CRITIC, Standard Deviation, Statistical Variance Procedure Methods. In the next stage, MCDM methods were applied comparatively in the selection and ranking of individual treatment options. During the analyzes, EXCEL, Visual PROMETHEE, and various package programs are used and a special unique analysis program has been developed by coding. In the lung cancer data set, the most appropriate treatment was selected with 5 different MCDM methods with their weighting methods and weighting decision criteria. The results showed that there was no difference between the methods, the results confirmed that the treatment decisions were chosen correctly. It seems that to apply multi-criteria decision-making methods can be able to determine the selection, classification, and ranking of individual treatment options which becoming more common nowadays.
