Özet (EN)

The primary aim of this study is to examine the relationship between cognitive insight, insight, self-reflection levels, and the level of death anxiety in individuals aged 18-65. A total of 201 participants, took part in the study. Participants first completed a Demographic Information Form, followed by assessments using the Beck Cognitive Insight Scale (BCIS), the Self-Reflection and Insight Scale (SRIS), and the Multidimensional Death Awareness Scale (MDAS). All data were collected via the online platform Google Forms, and the data were analyzed using SPSS v22. Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the correlation levels between the variables in the study. In addition, a regression analysis was conducted between the subdimensions of insight and fear of death. The findings indicate that there was no significant relationship between the total score of the SRIS and the total score of the MDAS. Regarding the main variable of death anxiety, a significant positive relationship was found between self-expression level and death anxiety. This suggests that "as individuals' self-expression levels increase, their level of death anxiety also increases."
