Özet (EN)

The aim of the research was to adapt the Turkish Individual Disaster Resistance Assessment (BADD) scale to the Turkish Individual by making the reliability and validity of the "Individual Disaster Resilience Assessment (InDRA)" scale and to contribute to the literature for future studies. The application of the scale was conducted by applying a questionnaire to 622 students studying at Gümüşhane University. The fit indices obtained as a result of our research include the best. A statistically significant difference was found between the income groups in terms of the average of BADD scores of the participants in the study group (p <0.05). No statistically significant difference was found between the women in the study group and the disaster survival status of men (p> 0.05). In the study, a statistically significant difference was found between those who received disaster education and those with disaster preparedness plan information (p <0.05). As a result, all the findings of a new factor structure of the measuring tool in the view of the scope of this research is verified for validity and reliability in Turkey consisting of 20 items has reached a new high individual Disaster Resilience Rating Scale. The literature should be enriched by applying the BADD scale to different samples.
