Private pension system and the efficiency analysis of the private pension companies

Abstract (EN)

Private pension system in Turkey, within the financial system and economy to ensure long-term funds to complete the public social security system have started operations in 2003, the pension system in terms of economic efficiency and social care is paramount. In the Study between 2006-2008, company pension, private pension systems operating in the event of variable returns to scale under the assumption that the input-oriented DEA and Malmquist total factor productivity index was measured. 3 inputs to increase the effectiveness of the company (shareholders' equity, total debt retirement activities and labor) and 2 outputs (technical income and investment income of retirement) variables are used. As a result of analyzing the effectiveness of private pension, companies were studied in detail. To become effective , the active policy recommendations are made for firms. Although there are lot of companies active in the pension sector, it was seen that the sector was inactive and affected by the finacial crisis.In Private pension system, the economy is a source of funding for both individuals during retirement, living in prosperity because of their contribution, should increase its share in the financial system.Keywords: Private Pensions, Private Pension System, The Effectiveness, Efficiency,Data Envelopment Analysis, Malmquist.
