Abstract (EN)
Individual labor disputes can be defined as disputes that arise from the individual working relationship between an employer and employee, and their resolution can be considered as one of the most important issues in the workplace. Even though the number of individual labor disputes is increasing by the day, the current approaches still fail to resolve disputes in a timely or satisfactory manner. The resolution of individual labor disputes is also negatively affected by such factors as current legislation, the competency of labor unions, the economic structure, and education level of the employers and employees. This thesis provides an explanation of the factors that negatively affect the resolution of individual labor disputes, while also evaluating the current administrative, judicial and alternative methods for resolving these disputes, and shedding light on alternative means of resolving individual labor disputes by opening a discussion on the methods used in other countries.
