Propaganda activities against the Ottoman Empire in the First World War

In this thesis, propaganda activities against the Ottoman Empire in the First World War were studied. The Ottoman Empire, which faced with intensive propaganda works in the First World War, particularly by Entente states, had to struggle with both military and psychological warfare. England was the state that attached greatest importance to the propaganda works of the Entente group.Russia also followed England secondly. Both of the states made propaganda on every part of the Ottoman State. They tried to convince the Muslims that war is meaningless and that they are starving and miserable needlessly. Furthermore, by showing the above reasons, they suggested the Muslims to refuge themselves. These two states have resorted to various methods for that purpose. In addition to the Entente states, Germany and Bulgaria that the Ottoman Empire stood beside the war, also took part in propaganda activities. As a result, both sides generally had positive results.
