Abstract (EN)
The basis mission of United Nation's (UN) is solving incompatibilities by providing international peace and secure atmosphere. In this thesis, the application of United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) has been searched which is developed by UN to contribute to solving International incompabilities. In the first section of thesis, the UN Peacekeeping Operations and their process of arising are investigated in details and the experiences acquired are mentioned. The basis and position of operations in International Law are also mentioned. In the second section, United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus – which is founded to provide peace and secure atmosphere in Cyprus Island in 1963 which Cyprus problem's reaching summit converting to slaughter and racial extermination. In the conclusion section, assessments have been held related to the future of UNFICYP as the part of solution to Cyprus' Matter.
