Investigation of combined classroom applıcations by teachers' opinions

A combined classroom means that for various reasons at least two classes are combined into a single classroom and taught by the same teacher. Combined classrooms are an indispensable reality of our country due to geographical, economic, etc. Reasons. In this study, it is aimed to reveal more favorable educational environments for students by making use of the experiences of teachers working in schools with combined classes. The study aims to reveal the application in various aspects. The study group of the research consists of eight teachers selected by purposive sampling method in Köşk district of Aydın province in the 2023-2024 academic year. The research was designed as basic qualitative research from qualitative research models. The data were collected through face to face interviews with the teachers and the interviews consisted of five semi structured questions. The data obtained from the interviews constitutes the findings of the study. Research findings were analyzed by creating themes and codes. In the find-ings section, the data are tabulated and presented. According to the findings of the study, teachers working in unified classrooms reveal that environmental effects increase students' interest in school. However, this result can be interpreted as a result of the fact that teachers working in unified classrooms can turn the weaknesses of the practice into advantages.
