Abstract (EN)
The purpose of the study was to find out whether in providing training according to their performance level and delivered by the itinerant teacher to the visually impaired children in regular schools with problems in academic area and skills related with the visually impairment would be effective on overcoming limitations. The design of this study is multiple probe design across subjects, a variation of the multiple baseline design. The subjects of the study consist of two visually impaired students both of whom are enrolled in 9th grade in a regular high school in Ankara. The data of the study were collected by teacher interview forms, checklists, and criterion referenced tests that were developed by the researcher. Criterion referenced measurement devices have been developed to prepare the teaching plans. Graphical analysis was used in evaluating the obtained data. According to the findings of the study, it has been found that in providing training according to their performance level and delivered by the itinerant teacher to the visually impaired children with problems in academic area and skills related with the visually impairment in regular schools were effective on overcoming limitations.
